Is it a cane?,  is it a Diddley Bow?.....YES!   Not sure if we should call this a Diddley cane, or a Cane Bow, or???.    My wife came up with this idea.  I know, she wasn't the first.  There are other similar things out there, but this is my version and we think they're pretty cool.   The Diddley Bow (a one stringed guitar) is where Bo Diddley got his name and he and many others in his era learned on a homemade instrument like this.  This one is made with a cool John Deere tin and a Maple neck.  It is an acoustic instrument which is fretted on the diatonic scale.  It is approximately 36" in overall length (about standard for a cane).  There are tons of videos on you tube etc regarding Diddley Bows making it easy and fun to learn to play.
